10 Signs You’re Dating a Blogger
- She moblogged your first date with her.
- The only time you get to talk is when you comment on her blog(s). She always comments back.
- You ask her to show you some love; she gives you site wide links.
- Anytime anything notable happens, she exclaims: “Won’t that make a great post!”
- When she speaks of her friends, she is referring to the people in her blogroll.
- When you talk about baby names, she suggests Scoble if it is a boy, and Scoble if it is a girl.
- Her lifetime goal: Technorati Rank: 1
- She would rather have breakfast at the computer than breakfast in bed.
- You can read her diary if you want, it’s all on her blog anyways.
- She emailed you a link to this post, and you’re laughing. :)

LOL…I’ve never dated a blogger but I’ll admit to at least having a couple blogger crushes..hehe. Maybe some day this list will apply to me :D

I have come to think that maybe bloggers should stick to their own kind, if you know what I mean. I don’t think a non-blogger could tolerate me at this point and I have only been blogging a few months, so I can just imagine as my blogoholism becomes more pronounced how much harder it would be to tolerate.
Maybe if I try dating a non-blogger I will send him this post at the beginning of the relationship to know what he is getting himself into. :P

Hahahaha, very funny post. When I started blogging and talking to my boyfriend about links and stats - it was all way over his head. But now that’s he’s blogging too - it’s become a little easier!

I am glad you found it funny, Gloria. I really enjoyed writing this post!
So then your boyfriend has converted… that would certainly make things more fun.
So many of my friends don’t want to hear about my blog, so it would be important that my significant other understand what I am talking about it and would be interested in my passion. Though I am sure a non-blogger would be capable of this, I think to really “get it” you need to have your own blog.
Plus, then he would HAVE TO link to my blog, and my Technorati authority would increase. :P

It’s probably not a bad idea…the sticking to your own kind thing. I can imagine it would be a little deflating to a non-blogger if you were more interested in your technorati authority than how their day went ;P

Hernan, thanks! I don’t know how much I like the name Scoble, I would save that name for a special kind of child I think
Mike, thanks for digging! That’s the first time anyone has dugg anything that I wrote (besides me… tear). But either way, 15 people read this post by finding it on digg, so that is something, right?
