Passion trumps the rest
I have been blogging since March 2007 but as with anything I do, “once I get going you can’t hold me down, and once I get started I go to town” (Chocolate Watch Band, I’m not like everybody else). So, not only have I been blogging regularly, but I have also been regularly visiting other blogs. What I have noticed is that I will find myself reading blogs whose subject matter holds no interest for me, yet certain blogs hold my interest in such a way that I return, sometimes even to my surprise.
About a month ago, in the blog forum, I said that it does not really matter what you blog about so long as you are passionate about what the subject, and that allowing the fact that you are excited about what you are writing shine through will gain you more readers than if you blog on “popular” topics.
Alternatively, if you manage to show that you are passionate about “popular” topics, you have got it made! And this is what I have found with .
Now besides the obvious fact that msdanielle and I share the same name, which further proves the value of being a Danielle, there is so much I like about this blog, and trust me, I am not the only one.
msdanielle loves her blog! After a few months of blogging, she declares “” and in this post, you can tell she is excited about what she is doing, and her excitement rubs off. You know that she is not going to all of sudden stop blogging, so you know that you will get to read more and you won’t suddenly have to one day find a new place to visit to get your dose of quirky and often informative posts about a wide range of things from the debate: to her .
And now to one lucky blogger who reviews her blog. Now this Zune has been around the block apparently, but it remains in the package and is brand new. A Zune with a history, I can live with that.
